A community coffee shop that would serve multiple purposes has always been an aspiration of the original Friendship Café founders back in 2001, and eventually, thanks to many different people and organisations, this milestone has been achieved. It’s a community space where anybody can come in for a chat, a cup of tea or snack, make friends, get advice and become more involved in the community through ourselves and other organisations that are based here or in the area. The Coffee Shop acts as the ‘reception’ to the main building and a central hub for the area.
